Q: What is FIBER?
A: It is a synthetic fiber used to reduce shrinkage cracking and increase impact and abrasion resistance in cement mixes.
Q: How much is in a packet?
A: Each packet contains 40 grams (1.41 ounces).
Q: How much do I need to use?
A: Add 1 to 4 packets to achieve the desired reinforcement.
Q: How do I add it to my mix?
A: Add FIBER to your material and water mixture and mix until thoroughly distributed for about 2 minutes.
Q: Can I use it with other additives?
A: It can be used in conjunction with other Rapid Set® Concrete Pharmacy® items or certain approved additives.
Q: Can I add it to other portland cement products?
A: FIBER can reduce the shrinkage cracking in other portland cement products, however a trial batch is recommended to determine your requirements.
Q: Where can I purchase it?
A: Rapid Set® Concrete Pharmacy® products are available nationwide through contractor supply yards and home improvement centers. We can ship direct to you in remote areas.
