Q: How should the surface be prepared?
A: Make sure all loose particles are removed from the surface to be patched. Make sure the repair surface is not contaminated by oil, bondbreakers, paint, acids, dirt or other materials that will prevent a good bond.
Q: How much working time do I have with Stucco Patch?
A: At normal temperatures, the working time of Stucco Patch is approximately 20 minutes. Cold water and material will slow down the set time, and warm water and material will speed up the set time.
Q: What color is Stucco Patch?
A: Stucco Patch dries to a off white color.
Q: What coverage can I expect from a 50 lb. bag of Stucco Patch?
A: Each 50 lb. bag of Stucco Patch will cover an area of 9 square feet at 3/4 in. depth.
Q: How soon can I paint or coat Stucco Patch?
A: Under dry conditions, water based coatings such as latex paint can be applied in 2 hours. Solvent based and Impermeable coatings such as oil based paint and epoxy can be applied in 16 hours. Experience has shown that some coatings can be applied in much less time. Follow the coating manufacturer's recommendations for surface condition.
