A Better Way to Build Concrete Floors
When incorporated into a concrete mix design, KSC System-K™ can reduce or eliminate shrinkage cracking in concrete, and reduce the number of joints in the slab.
KSC System-K™ is NOT a shrinkage-reducing admixture (SRA). It is an expansive cement system which when added to regular portland cement, aggregates and water produces a very durable concrete. Typically, about 15% of the cement is replaced with Komponent® to meet the requirements of ASTM C845 Type-K Cement.
